How do they find you info?
There are a lot of sources on the internet to find who works at your company and their positions.
LinkedIn is one source. I can search for Accounts Payable, locate the relevant person, and begin investigating your company.
Another source can be your website. "Meet The Team". This gives scammers instant info to the had of the company.
They can use browser plugins that will scrape your info. It will give them your cell phone number, work number, email address and maybe even your home address.
